What is the difference between nail services?
When visiting a nail salon, clients can choose from an array of services to enhance
the health and aesthetics of their nails, achieving the desired look and relaxation.
At our nail studio, we believe in offering a wide range of services to cater to every individual's unique preferences and nail types. Whether you choose acrylics, hard gels, or soft gels, each product has its own distinct advantages and can be tailored to suit your style and the natural structure of your nails. Just like a hair salon wouldn't exclude curly hair, we ensure that all nail types and preferences are welcomed and celebrated. Our commitment is to provide comprehensive nail care that highlights the beauty of your natural nails, no matter the product used. Love your nails first!
Manicure
A classic nail service that involves shaping, filing, and buffing the nails. Cuticles are groomed and if the cuticles are in extreme growth then the service is focused on removal achieving the desired look of tidy cuticles. The service may finish with a high buff shine of the nails or the application of a nail polish colour of your choice.
Gel Manicure
A longer-lasting alternative to regular polish, gel polish is cured under LED light, providing a chip-free finish that lasts for several weeks. It offers a high-gloss shine and is available in a variety of colors.
Acrylic Nails
A popular option for those seeking longer and more durable nails. Acrylic nails are created by applying a liquid and powder mixture to the natural nail, sculpting it into the desired shape. They can be extended and are customizable with various colors and designs. Acrylic nails require ongoing maintenance and need to be filled every 3-4 weeks. But those of us that have long nail beds and slow growth can easily go 6 to 8 weeks before a fill in. The acrylic is much more porous than any gel product. Even if you have acrylics with gels colour on top your nail gets breaths more and unlikely to ever get a soft natural nail as full gels can do as the moisture release from the nail plate can cause softer natural nails.
Hard Gel Nails
A popular option for those seeking longer and more durable nails. Hard gel nails are created by applying a gel which is cured under LED light, and sculpted to the desired shape. They can be extended and are customizable with various colors and designs. Gel nails require ongoing maintenance and need to be filled every 3-4 weeks.
Nail Art
A creative and personalized way to express yourself. Nail art involves intricate designs, patterns, and decorations applied to the nails. This can include hand-painted designs, decals, gems, and more, allowing for endless possibilities.
Paraffin Wax Treatment
A luxurious add-on to a manicures. Hands are dipped into warm, melted paraffin wax, creating a moisture-sealing barrier. This helps to soothe and soften the skin while providing a therapeutic and relaxing experience.
